Kem Husain

Kem has over 20 years of capital market experience and joined AxeTrading in 2017 to manage and lead the Asia Pacific region.

Over the previous 10 years he worked as a Senior Director in Societe Generale’s Fixed Income Electronic Sales Team and as a Global Business Manager for Electronic Trading on HSBC’s Fixed Income Trading Desk. Kem helped to grow the global Rates, Credit and Emerging Markets businesses through his expertise in electronic trading, market structure and execution advisory services. Kem honed his electronic trading knowledge with roles at both Bloomberg and Reuters but started his career at Hemscott in the late 90’s.

Having worked at both sell-side and FinTech institutions, Kem has been able to have unique insight of capital market structural changes over the last 15 years and build a global network within the FinTech and Market Structure space. Kem holds a Business Administration degree from the University of the West of England in Bristol.
