Rana Dasgupta

Rana Dasgupta is Managing Director, Head Global Markets Structuring, Asia ex-Japan, at Nomura. He covers Institutional & Corporate clients across asset classes in Rates, Currencies, Credit, Equities & Hybrid products. He is also a subject matter expert on IFRS 9 related accounting topics on derivatives. Rana has been with Nomura since 2008, based in Hong Kong & Singapore. Earlier he worked at Lehman Brothers & Standard Chartered Bank in similar roles. Prior to Banking, he worked as a professional accountant & consultant, including 4 years with Arthur Andersen, Mumbai. Rana has an MBA from INSEAD, is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), and graduated from the University of Mumbai.
